"ISSUE ONE!"
A reference to the long-running PBS news roundtable series The McLaughlin Group, Adam and Ben typically use this reference to describe any large decision-making crew meetings which take place on the show. This reference is always accompanied by the cranky voice of John McLaughlin announcing the first issue ("Issue one") of the program . On occasions where the crew has a second meeting or brainstorming session, McLaughlin more measuredly announces the second issue.
It was particularly apt when introduced in reference to The Child (S2E01) [Ep. 26 Worf Don't Preach] when a group of mostly male characters discuss how Counselor Troi's alien pregnancy should be handled--without much interest in her input.
Many viewers, unfamiliar with the television program, often thought that the sound drop here was someone yelling, "IF YOU WANT".
