Sometimes Ben and Adam will intentionally place the emphasis on the wrong syllable of a word or phrase, usually in the context of an episode title. This is a reference to the TNG episode "Tin Man," in which Picard strangely emphasizes "man" instead of "tin." Flipping the normal emphasis is a cultural affectation among educated and/or upper-class British people, which is usually used to indicate that the speaker is thinking deeply about, or scrutinizing, the thing being discussed.
